Summary of the Chapter Mother’s Day Mother’s Day Summary- The play starts with two friends who are talking to each other about their life at Mrs Pearson’s House. Mrs. Fitzgerald advises Mrs. Pearson on his personal life. She advises him to be the boss of his family. But Mrs Pearson is a humble and sweet-natured woman. So she can’t control his family. Mrs Fitzgerlad decides to change their soul with each other with black magic. After the changes, as usual, her daughter Dories came home. She told her mother to iron her dress but her mother didn’t do that. Mrs Pearson tells her daughter to iron it own. She tells him not to go with his friend and calls his male friend Doncky. She crisis because of the behavior of his mother. Then her son came at the back door. She also behaves rudely with her son. At night his husband came. He sees her son and daughter crying. He tells Mrs Pearson what is happening there and where is her tea. Mrs Pearson tells him to make your tea on his own. I am not your servant. She also didn’t permit her to go to the club. At last, Mrs Fitzgerald came and handled the situation. She tells Mrs Pearson to change their souls back and advises him to be rude to their family.
