REAP Counselling 2026: Dates, Form, Choice Filling, Merit List, Seat Allotment, Admission Process

The Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) is the gateway for students taking admission into the first year of B.E., B.Tech, and B.Arch courses across various government and private technical institutions in Rajasthan.

  1. Note: These dates are based on the latest notification from the Centre for Electronic Governance (CEG), Rajasthan. Candidates are advised to check the official portal regularly for any last-minute changes.

Eligibility Criteria for REAP 2026

B.E. / B.Tech Admissions

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with mandatory subjects such as Physics and Mathematics, along with optional subjects such as Chemistry, Computer Science, or Biology.

Minimum Marks: A minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates, including SC, ST, non-creamy layer OBC, non-creamy layer MBC, and PWD) in the required subjects, combined.

B. Architecture Admissions

Qualifying Exam: At least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at the 10+2 level, or a 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics with at least 50% marks.

Aptitude Test: Candidates must qualify for an architecture aptitude test, such as NATA or JEE Main Paper 2A.

Weightage: Admission is based on 50% marks from the aptitude test and 50% from the qualifying examination.

Admission Rank and Priorities in REAP 2026

Rank lists are prepared based on specific merit orders to ensure fair seat allocation.

B.E. / B.Tech and B. Plan

  • Priority 1: Candidates under the Sports Quota.
  • Priority 2: Based on JEE (Mains) 2026 rank for candidates having a 20th percentile score or more
  • Priority 3: Based on the 12th percentile.
  • Priority 4: Based on D.Voc percentage.

B. Architecture

  • Priority 1: Sports Quota candidates.
  • Priority 2: Combined weightage of Class-12 percentile (50%) and Higher Aptitude Test-2026 score (50%).
  • Priority 3: Combined weightage of Diploma percentage (50%) and Higher Aptitude Test-2026 score (50%).

Quotas and Reservations in REAP 2026

REAP 2026 follows strict reservation policies for all government and private technical institutes in Rajasthan.

Reservations based on Cast

  • Scheduled Caste (SC): 16%
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST): 12%
  • Non-creamy layer OBC: 21% (annual parental income limit is ₹8.00 Lakh).
  • Economical Weaker Section (EWS): 10%.
  • Non-creamy layer MBC: 5%.

Reservation based on Special Quota

  • Women: 30% reservation within their respective categories.
  • Persons with Special Ability (PWD): 5%.
  • Dependents of Ex-servicemen: 3% (with 50% of these seats reserved for girls).
  • Tribal Sub Plan (TSP): 45% of the ST quota seats are reserved for TSP candidates in applicable institutes.
  • Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS): Up to 5% supernumerary seats for students whose parental annual income is less than ₹8.00 Lakh.
  • Out of State Quota: 15% of approved intake in private colleges and government self-finance courses for non-Rajasthan domicile candidates.
  • Working Professional Quota: Supernumerary seats for in-service professionals with at least 2 years of experience.

Application Process and Fees in REAP

The entire registration process is managed online through the official REAP portal.

Application Fee: A non-refundable fee of ₹885 (₹750 + 18% GST) is required for registration.

Step-by-Step Registration

  1. Fee Payment: The application form becomes active only after a successful payment.
  2. Form Filling: Upload a photograph (up to 100 KB) and signature (up to 50 KB) in JPG format, and other documents in PDF format.
  3. Choice Filling: Candidates can fill as many college and branch choices as available.
  4. Locking: After reviewing, you must press “Submit/Lock.” Unlocking a locked form later requires a fee of ₹50.

Online Reporting and Seat Acceptance

Candidates must follow a specific online reporting procedure to secure an allotted seat.

  • Check Allotment: View your allotted seat via the candidate panel and download the allotment letter.
  • Seat Acceptance Fee: Deposit ₹10,000 through the REAP-2026 portal.
  • Upload Reporting Documents: It is mandatory to upload the seat acceptance fee receipt, the allotment letter, and a signed Document Check List.
  • Reporting Status: The allotted institute will verify your documents and update your status to ‘Reported,’ ‘Conditionally Reported,’ ‘Special Conditionally Reported,’ or ‘Cancelled.
  • Upward Movement: If you wish to try for a higher-preferred seat, you can apply for “Upward Movement” in subsequent rounds.

Physical Reporting Checklist

After the counselling process concludes, online-reported candidates must verify original documents in person at their finally allotted institute. Failure to do so will result in admission cancellation.

Required Documents for Physical Reporting:

  • Provisional Final Seat Allotment Letter.
  • Class X and XII Marksheets.
  • JEE (Main) 2026 score card (if applicable).
  • Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS/TSP).
  • Aadhar Card.
  • Domicile Certificate. (Mool Nivas)
  • Income Certificate (for TFWS or reserved categories).
  • Medical Fitness Certificate.
  • Self-attested copies of all documents and recent colour photographs.
